A few recent approvals for The Used.

We just officially launched, VOTEMRAZ.COM, the first site of it’s kind for an artist (that we know of at least), allowing fans to vote on and decide the fate of artist merch. We developed the concept with management, then did the design and development on a quick 2-day turn. Pretty simple concept to start, but hugely powerful. The design(s) with the most votes win. This particular site for Jason includes a selection of Valentine’s Day themed tees but will be rolled out and developed further to include all kinds of fan involvement in a variety of different aspects of Jason’s career, music, merch and touring. It’s a great way to solidify the connection between artist and fan, while taking some of the guesswork out of the selection process for the artist and management. Everybody wins.
Here is a sneak peak at a new project we have been working on. Apparel based - design and development. We’d love to tell you all about this but we are sworn to secrecy for now. Stay tuned…
we have been doing quite a bit of work for ATREYU recently with the release of their new record Congregation Of The Damned. Check out a few of the new threads we created for them.

Another great reissue.. this time we were brought in by the Beasties to give Check Your Head the royal treatment.
Limited Edition of 2000 - 4 pieces of 180 gram vinyl includes the full remastered album and the original 4 12″ singles - so 36 tracks total.
Working with Yauch on this one, we decided to turn this into an 8-panel gatefold book with silver foil on the cover and spine and a bunch of mixed varnishes throughout. Used the back of the Jimmy James 12″ Single as the back cover, included the full original photo collage, and changed up the colors on the original Grand Royal labels.
Then, to top it off, we thought it would look sick if this gatefold book slipped into a linen-wrapped case - and if that linen-wrapped case had the cover and spine image hot-stamped on in black foil for a subtle black-on-black vibe. Classy. And definitely a collector’s item.
Below is a little teaser of the package. You can order it direct from the Boys HERE, while they last and they ship out around 4/30/09. We’ll post some actual pics of the full pacakge once they’re back from the plant.
Check out the packages for the CD reissue, standard vinyl and download-only too. And grab the “Fat Shit In ‘92″ tee too! That shit’s a classic! We had to fully recreate the tee from scratch to match the original - only a limited number of these available too:

Whipped these up for The Used recently. Will be at retail and/or on the road soon.

We are proud to have recently designed a custom tee for Joe Rogan which he wore for the taping of his new comedy special at the Southern Theatre in Columbus, OH.
The special will air on SPIKE TV June 20th. Watch that shit!!!!!

So lots of Jimmy Eat World news this time.
SF is tonight, LA is tomorrow night. Both sold out.
I hear the tour has been AMAZING and the shows blistering. If you didn’t get a chance to get a ticket, you’ll be able to download the tour’s best in Lossless & MP3 here.
Obviously the vinyl we worked on is out now. We also did the full round of re-issue merch for Clarity. Taking core designs from the era and making them new while staying true to the band’s aesthetic.
Check out some of the core pieces below. A bunch of colorways were tour exclusives, but you can buy additional items at the Jimmy Eat World Online Store. (A little birdy told me that if there are any tour leftovers they’ll make it to the online store but won’t last long once they do.)
This was part design, part development, all for a good cause. Mraz is a good friend and long standing merchandise development / consulting client of ours, and Rock The Vote is a new friend of ours through the Beasties posters we did for the Get Out And Vote tour and the Inauguration Show. We put the two together to help raise a bit of money for Rock The Vote’s continuing efforts, and give the Mraz fans who are also Obama supporters a way to represent.
We designed this paying homage the hand sketch illustrations by David Shrigley used in the current Mraz album packaging for “We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things.” This is a limited edition tee that should sell out pretty quick so if you want one, be sure to go HERE quick to pick it up!

Here is a group of various tees we have don for our buddy Jason Mraz over the past little while. some will never see the light of day for one reason or another, but most have already been printed and used somewhere around the world. catch them if you can..
These were done a little while ago but we’re just getting around to posting them. The Tiger tee went to Hot Topic as an exclusive, the other to the road and online store.

Here is a new Hoody we did for the upcoming Pierce The Veil tour.
