Here is a sneak peak at a new project we have been working on. Apparel based - design and development. We’d love to tell you all about this but we are sworn to secrecy for now. Stay tuned…
In addition to working on all of the print collateral, new website, merch and all the other branding elements for California Bike Week 2009, we were also asked to come up with an updated identity for CBW as a brand.

A little while back our friend Dave Callaham asked us to do a old school METAL logo treatment and identity package for his production company, Jittery Dog Productions. So we did. We like.

So, we’re not really sure what’s going to end up happening with the EPMD Logo Project’s pieces. Supposed to be a big gallery showing popping off at some point. But, we’re pretty antsy to show these to people, so here you go. The idea here was to re-interpret the classic EPMD logo, or do a piece “inspired by” the guys and their music. So, we did both. Enjoy.
This one was was printed with metallic gold ink on black kraft paper. Turned out sick.

This one was digitally printed with archival pigment inks on heavy uncoated photo rag.

So, this is cool.. we’ll be among a group of international artists who have been invited to redesign the EPMD logo. Pretty sweet. It’s all for charity and happening towards the end of this month, pretty quickly actually.
From the press release:
“Works from each artist will be presented on canvases and prints and auctioned off at a record release event and a listening party. In Los Angeles, EPMD will team up with the Microsoft Zune space, offering guests the first opportunity to hear the new album and bid on the exclusive artwork. A main event will follow in New York, which will include performances by EPMD and friends, as well as the next opportunity to bid on the artwork.” The Logo Project’s current roster of participating artists also includes: Cey Adams, Hersk, Claw Money, HVW8, Keith Rocka, Darren Brass, and Chris Garver. Additional artists are signing on to participate on a daily basis.
Portions of the proceeds earned from each event will go to benefit Brooklyn New York-based charity Groundswell Community Mural Project.
“Additionally, the event will be commemorated with a limited edition T-shirt and poster of one select piece. A portion of these items will be given to attendees and the remaining will be auctioned off at the event, all proceeds to benefit the charity. A contest will also be offered in conjunction with a media partner, in which the general public can submit their own interpretations of the logo. Winning designs will be featured at each event.”

We were recently asked to do the “Best Buy Guitar Hero: World Tour Headquarters” logo lock-up for the big Guitar Hero release this year. this shit’s everywhere now. hooray.

Meet “Sweet Toof” he is a character we developed for a top secret project we are working on.

A little hand-drawn ditty for Pierce The Veil’s Delicious Tour. Sometimes this shit takes FOREVER, but when it turns out like this it’s worth it.
Originally developed as just an admat for tour-related ads, but it looks like the logo itself may be morphing into a bit more of an identity piece.. we’ll be reskinning their MySpace page, drum heads, tour backdrop, and tons of other uses.
Created these logos for California Bike Week 2008. We originally had a much more fierce bear in the logo, but since it’s a family-oriented event, they had us switch it out.. still looks great, but I gotta say we were partial to the fangs =)
More CBW work coming too.. ads, flyers, website, tees, on-site branding, etc. Thanks to Oliver, JP, NCompass and the rest of the CBW / Love Ride crew for trusting us with their rebrand!

Here is an Illustrated version of Alka-seltzer’s “speedy” mascot from the 50’s. we did this with Mirrorball for Alka-seltzers new campaign. for sure gonna be the coolest over the counter medicine campaign of the year.
(i cannot believe i just actually wrote that)

a bunch of fun logos and identities from over the past couple of years.
